PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for recording of one line and simplify the structure of the whole of a device by adopting a long ink cartridge element approximately equal to the recording width and plural dotting pins. CONSTITUTION:When a feeding screw 44 is rotated, a recording head carriage 40 starts moving in the right drection for 0.1mm. as a step. A recording paper 1 is dotted in black, and black dotting is terminated by the 99th step. At this time, the length of movement of the recording head carriage 40 is 9.9mm.. Next, when an ink cartridge 30 is rotated by 1/6, a red ink pad is placed just under the carriage 40. The recording head carriage is moved in the left direction for 0.1mm. as a step while dotting the recording paper in red and is returned to the origin. This going and returning is repeated three times to complete dotting of 6 colors. Next, the recording paper 1 is advanced by one step. The analog signal of the output of a thermocouple or the like is switched by an input changeover switch and is subjected to A/D conversion and is stored in a memory temporarily. A microprocessor operates specific dotting pins selectively on a basis of the color for every channel, the color of the current ink pad, the position of the recording head carriage 40, etc. to attain dot recording in color for every channel. |
