<p>PURPOSE:To surely and automatically assemble parts with an assembled member without increasing the cost, by setting the assembled member in a prescribed posture and using an automatic machine to assemble the parts with the assembled member in a prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:In an automobile assembly line, an instrument panel I is sequentially transferred to parts assembly stages S1-S13 by a conveyor H so that the instrument panel is placed on a setting jig G in each stage. For the instrument panel I placed on the jig G, a securing jig F is positioned by engaging the positioning pin of the jig G in the positioning hole of the jig F, and supported by the receiving plate of the jig G, so that the instrument panel is positioned on the jig G. By these means, parts are surely and automatically assembled with the assembled member or instrument panel without increasing the cost.</p> |
