PURPOSE:To prevent the through current of a CMOS inverter from being generated by connecting the source of an N channel MOS transistor (TR) to the source of P channel MOSTR, and its gate and drain to a source potential. CONSTITUTION:A couple of N channel MOSTRQ1 and P channel MOSTRQ2 constitute the CMOS inverter. The gates of those TRs Q1 and Q2 are connected to an input side TTL circuit 1, and their drains are connected to an output Vout. The source of the TRQ2 is connected to the source of channel MOSTRQ3, whose drain and gate are connected to a source voltage Vcc. Consequently, the difference between the level of the circuit 1 and source voltage of the TRQ2 of the CMOS inverter decreases, so the inverter is prevented from generating the through current. |
