PURPOSE:To form cut-off walls with good efficiency by a method in which three- connected holes are excavated and filled with soil cement in a repeated manner, a sheet pile consisting of two struts and a cut-off plate provided between the struts is orderly penetrated into the connected holes. CONSTITUTION:Three-connected holes 12 consisting of three round pits 11 are excavated by an excavator woth three stirring and excavating rods. Soil cement 13 is formed in the pits 11. In the same way, the connected holes are continuously formed. A sheet pile 1 consisting of two struts 2 and 2' with couplers 4 and 4' and a cut-off plate 3 connected to the upside of the strut 2 is penetrated into the three-connected holes 12 in order while being connected. When the soil cement wall is formed by hardening, the ground is excavated from the upper end to a given height for exposure to form a cut-off wall. The efficiency of the cut- off wall formation work can thus be raised and the amount of the materials used can be saved since the lower part of the cut-off plate is omitted. |
