PURPOSE:To electrically polish a workpiece with high efficiency, by interposing electroconductive grains and unelectroconductive grains between the workpiece and an electroconductive disk and applying a voltage between the workpiece and the disk. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 6 is fixed on the bottom of a weight 3 by an electroconductive adhesive 7. An insulating cylinder 2 is put on the top of an electroconductive disk 1. Electrodoncuctive grains 4 and unelectroconductive grains 5 are put together in the cylinder 2. When a positive and a negative potentials are applied to the weight 3 and the disk 1, respectively, the grains 4, 5 are turned in a state of mixture of randomly move on and off the workpiece 6 to polish it. |
