PURPOSE:To improve fuel consumption and emission by controlling air-fuel ratio or exhaust-gas recirculation amount according to the output of a roughness sensor and correcting ignition timing according to the variation of the air-fuel ratio or the exhaust-gas recirculation amount. CONSTITUTION:A high-voltage secondary current is supplied into a spark plug 11 from an ignition coil 12 through a distributor 13, and the amount of fuel injection from a fuel injection valve 15 and the ignition timing of the spark plug 11 are controlled by a control circuit 20. Into said control circuit 20, each detection signal supplied from a roughness sensor 16 for detecting the roughness of an engine, negative-pressure sensor 17 for detecting the intake negative pressure on the downstream of a throttle valve 14, and a crank-angle sensor 18 is input. Said control circuit 20 possesses the function as roughness suppressing means for controlling the air-fuel ratio of the mixed gas in rich direction in case when roughness in generated and the function as ignition-timing determining means which determines the ignition timing according to the operation state, and further possesses the ignition-timing correcting means for correcting ignition timing. |
