PURPOSE:To prevent leakage and stabilize picture quality for a long period of time by bonding and fixing the flat surface section or perforated section of a glass container with nucleated frit, increase adhesion strength, and improving sealing properties with non-nucleated frit. CONSTITUTION:A terminal section 45 for applying voltage is sealed on an electron beam current control electrode 44 at the flat section 46 of a glass container with nucleated frit 47 and the inner and outer surface sections of the glass container are sealed with non-nucleated frit 48. In addition, a phosphor 41 and the terminal wire 50 for applying voltage of an electron beam acceleration electrode 49 is sealed on the perforated section 51 of the glass container 43 with nucleated frit 52 and the inside and outside of the glass container 43 are sealed with non- nucleated frit 53. Furthermore, since the inner part of the glass container 43 is made vacuum, a chip tube 54 is sealed on the perforated section 55 of a glass container 42 with nucleated frit 56 and the inside and outside of the glass container 42 are sealed with non-nucleated frit 57. |
