PURPOSE:To permit air fuel ratio feedback control with high accuracy and responsive property by setting divisions of engine running region closer to each other as said region approaches low load running one to restrain the change width of fuel supply amount as small as possible. CONSTITUTION:RAM24 of a controller 21 progressly increases as the addresses Z1-Z25 shift from high load running region to low load one so that the engine running region is set to be narrowed gradually. Thus, in each engine running region in addresses Z1, Z2, Z6, Z7, etc. belonging to the low load running region, the change width of fuel injection amount in the same engine running region is narrowed compared with that in the high load running region. Thus, when the flow characteristics, etc. of a fuel injection valve are changed, the degree of dispersion of air fuel ratio in mixture supplied in the same engine running region is small and reference correction value K3 is accurately figured out to provide accurate feedback control of the air fuel ratio. |
