PURPOSE:To improve starting performance by memorizing the stop-angle position of a crankshaft in case of engine stop and executing the next ignition control on the basis of the memorized data and starting ignition control operation simultaneously with engine start, in an electronic distribution type ignition control. CONSTITUTION:Diodes 33-36 are arranged between the secondary-side 32 of an ignition coil and spark plugs P1-P4, and the ignition voltage is distributed according to the direction of conduction of electric current with respect to the primary side 31 of the ignition coil. A means 6 for feeding operation electric power into an engine controller 1 for a prescribed time after engine stop by an ignition key 4 and a memory means 1 which can memorize and hold data independently of the operation of the ignition key 4 are installed. The crank-angle position data output form a crank-angle sensor 2 in case of engine stop is memorized into the memory means 1, and the ignition control operation in the early period of engine start is executed according to the crank-angle position data read-out from the memory means 1. |
