<p>A sawtooth generator, partic. for the horizontal deflection circuit of a television receiver, including a switching element such as a transistor, a first inductor connected to the voltage supply and coupled through a diode to a capacitor which forms a parallel resonant circuit with a winding of the deflection coil during the flyback interval, and a second inductor connected by way of a correction capacitor and damped inductor to the diode and switching element. The deflection coil may have a first secondary winding for EHT supply and a second secondary winding for low voltage supply. The circuit is suitable for operation from mains voltage.</p> |
