PURPOSE:To ensure high functional properties and favorable operability, by a method wherein an error in a driving force transmitting means is absorbed in accordance with the rotating direction of a driving part. CONSTITUTION:When a controlling rod 14 is rotated in the direction of arrow 78a, a slide bevel gear 53 is also rotated in the same direction, and a ribbon bevel gear 55a is rotted in the direction of arrow 79a. A torque is transmitted from a ribbon belt 56 engaged with a belt pulley 55b integral with the gear 55b to a ribbon belt pulley 57b, whereby the pulley 57a is rotated in the direction of arrow 80a. On the other hand, when the rod 14 is rotated in the direction of arrow 78b, the rotating torque is in the direction of arrow 80b to the ribbon belt pulley 57b, in which case a ribbon-feeding ball 73 rides over a sawtooth ridge against the tension of a ball spring 74 to move in the direction of arrow 82 with a shaft 751 as a center, so that the torque is not transmitted to the ribbon take-up shaft 75. Further, since the direction is for fastening a spring clutch 77, the shaft 75 is not rotated but remains perfectly stationary, so that no action is exerted on a cassette 8. |
