PURPOSE:To obtain an image recording device of a copying machine, etc., which simplifies a structure, is capable of executing easily a maintenance, and has a high toner use efficiency, by forming a unit of one body by an electrostatic image carrying body and a developing and cleaning device, and installing it so as to be freely attachable and detachable to the body. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic image formed on a photosensitive drum 5 is developed by a magnetic brush formed by a magnetic toner on a magnet roller 8 provided on a developing and cleaning device 7. An image is transferred to a recording form P by a transfer electrode 11, and it is discharged through a fixing roller 14. A residual charge on the photosensitive drum 5 is erased by a light of a destaticizing lamp 16, and the toner is caught by the magnet roller 8 and collected into the developing and cleaning part 7. The photosensitive durm 5 being an electrostatic image carrying body, the developing and cleaning device 7, an electrostatic charge electrode 4 and the destaticizing lamp 16 are installed as a process unit 6 or one body onto rail-shaped holding members 17, 18 of a copying machine body. |
