PURPOSE:To prevent removal of caterpillar by burrying U-shaped core member in the caterpillar body and projection while further burrying a reinforcing member in the lower side of horizontal section of said core member thereby increasing the rgidity of projection without increasing the amount of rubber. CONSTITUTION:Projection 2 to be geared with pins of drive wheel are arranged in the central portion of catapillar body 1 while lugs 3 are formed at the grounding face side. Two projections 2 are formed laterally on the caterpillar body 1 and arranged longitudinally with interval. An U-shaped core member 4 is burried in said projection 2 while reinforcing member 5 such as wire cord, steel cord, etc. is burried in the lower side of horizontal portion 4a of core member 4. Consequently, the rigidity of projection is improved to prevent removal of caterpillar. |
