NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is H, 4-6C alkyl, halogen- monosubstituted 3-6C alkyl, etc.; R' is lower alkyl; N is 0-3; when R is H, n is 1-3, and when R is not H, n is 0) and its salt. EXAMPLE:N-n-butyl-N'-geranylgeranylacetylpiperazine. USE:An antiulcer agent having excellent activity against peptic ulcer. It has low toxicity and side effect, and high safety. PREPARATION:The geranylgeranylacetic acid of formula II (X is OH, halogen or lower alkoxy) or its reactive derivative is made to react with the piperazine compound of formula III to obtain the objective compound of formula I . The product is if necessary converted to salt by contacting with an acid. |
