PURPOSE:To enable to save labor and to secure safety in replacing and fitting a form, by a method wherein pulses according to the rotation of a form cylinder are generated by an encoder, are counted, and a stopping position of the form cylinder is controlled on the basis of a count output. CONSTITUTION:The encoder RE connected to a rotary part of a printing press generates one pulse Pa and 1,000 pulses Pb for each revolution of the form cylinder, a counter CUT counts the pulses Pb, and is reset by the pulse Pa, which operation is repeated for each revolution of the form cylinder. The count output is passed through a selector SEL for sampling the position of the form cylinder, is converted into a controlling pulse having a predetermined width by a pulse- generating circuit PG consisting of a monostable multivibrator or the like, and the controlling signal is inputted into a controlling circuit CNT. According to the operation of a switch SW, controlling outputs based on the controlling pulse are sequentially outputted to each part of the press to control a main motor M for driving the press or the like. Accordingly, it can be contrived to save labor and to secure safety in replacing and fitting the form, and accidents such as breakage of the press can be avoided. |
