PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a transfer failure in case a high resistance magnetic toner is used and a water containing paper is used as a transfer paper, by providing a discharge control plate on the rear side of the moving direction of a belt sensitized material of a shield of a transfer corotron, placing a separating and destaticizing corotron side to right under the center of a peeling roll, and specifying a diameter of the separating roll. CONSTITUTION:A toner image of a belt sensitized material 10 is transferred to a transfer paper A by a corona discharge from a transfer corotron 12, and it is separated by a separating roll 11, and simultaneously, receives a corona discharge from a separating and destaticizing corotron 13 and is separated from the belt sensitized material 10. In this case, the transfer corotron 12 approaches remarkably a center 11' of the separating roll 11, and a discharge control plate 16 is provided, therefore, the time when the transfer paper A passes through the corona discharge area can be shortened, and even in case the transfer paper A contains water, no transfer failure occurs. Also, the separating roll 11 has a remarkably small diameter such as 15-50mm., therefore, the transfer paper A is separated smoothly from the belt sensitized material 10. |
