PURPOSE:To obtain a proper steering sense even at the time of counter-steering in which steering in action is reversed in steering-back action by outputting, the signals that increase dampering force at the time of counter-steering from a control unit to a damping force adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:A motor 34 as a damping force adjusting means can be set in two position, one position in which a bypass oil path 26 is opened and the other position in which it is closed in accordance with the switching command signals from a control unit 39 as a control means. A steering state detection sensor 52 is provided and made to detect whether or not the steering operation state is in the counter-steering state. The control unit 39 detects a steering angle, calculates it, magnetizes or demagnetizes the coils 46a and 49a of switching relays 46 and 49, and sets a buffer 11 in the hard or soft state. |
