PURPOSE:To visualize faithfully an electrostatic latent image, and to prevent a selective development of a toner by providing a toner shunt on a sleeve of a developing device. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image is formed on a photoconductive drum 1, and subsequently, a visible image is obtained by a toner 6 of a developing device consisting of a roll having a magnet roll 3 is the inside of a sleeve 2, a doctor blade 4 for controlling a toner layer, a hopper 5 for storing a one component magnetic toner 6, and also a toner shunt 7. The shunt 7 is supported by a shaft 8, and contacts to the sleeve 2 at the time of printing. Also, it is separated from the sleeve 2 at the time of non-printing, the toner 6 does not exists on the shunt 7, and the photoconductive drum 1 is not contaminated. |
