PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a picture fault caused by a transient load variation by inclining a roller shaft against a direction of a form. CONSTITUTION:As for an inclined angle of a fixing roller 31, it is desirable that an angle theta of a roller shaft a' against a line (h) for making a right angle with an advancing direction of a form 32 is set to <=15 degrees. In case of a fixing device having such a fixing roller 31, the leading and the trailing edges of the form 32 enter and are detached diagonally into and from a nip line of the roller 31, and a bitten paper width of the roller 31 increases and decreases gradually as the progress, therefore, generation of an impulsive load variation is suppressed, and generation of an uneven step on a recoding object is prevented. |
