PURPOSE:To contrive the high photosensitivity and dark resistance by providing the layer region in which nitrogen atoms are included in a light accepting layer. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive member 100 is composed of a supporting body 101 and a light accepting layer 102 used for as photoconductive members. The layer 102 is composed of the first layer region 103 consisting of a-Ge (Si, H, X) and the second layer region 104 consisting of a-Si (H, X), which has a photoconductivity. Further in the layer 102, the layer region including nitrogen atoms is arranged. The nitrogen atoms in this region can be included uniformly over the whole layer region and also can be included only in a part of the layer region. |
