PRODUCTION OF COPPER OR COPPER ALLOY CLAD STEEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain easily and economically a copper or copper alloy clad steel having excellent quality by sandwiching >=2 kinds of insert metals having different m.p. into the space between a cladding material and a base material and controlling the m.p. of the insert metals. CONSTITUTION:>=2 Kinds of insert metals 3, 4 having different m.p. in such a way that the m.p. increases from the central part toward the direction of the outside circumferential edge are sandwiched between a cladding material 2 and a base material 1, and the materials are heated at the m.p. of the cladding material 2 or below and the m.p. of the high melting insert metal 4 or above to join the material 2 and the material 1. The materials are rolled at the temp. lower by (Tc-50) deg.C than the m.p. Tc of the insert metal 3 in the central part.
