PURPOSE:To improve test precision and to shorten a test time by detecting variation in force applied to a dead weight supporting mechanism coupled with an exciter, comparing the output of a servo control mechanism connected to the dead weight supporting mechanism with an actual load signal, and performing control so that the difference signal becomes zero. CONSTITUTION:The load setting signal of the weight of the exciter 1 is inputted to an adder 7b from the dead weight setting part 7a of the servo control mechanism 7. The adder 7b compares the input signal with the actual load signal from a load detector 6 which detects variation in force applied to the dead weight supporting mechanism 5, and the motor 5a of the dead weight supporting mechanism 5 is driven with the difference signal to perform control so that the difference signal is zero; and a wire 5c is applied with an invariably constant force to support the exciter 1. A force is applied to a body 4 to be tested with the piston 2 of the exciter during a test of oscillation resistance. The exciter 1 is supported with the constant force, so the precision of the oscillation resistance test is improved and the test time is shortened. |
