PURPOSE:To decrease execution time by preparing a sequence control table for copying mode on an RAM and transferring the corresponding control table from a floppy disc to the RAM at every selection of the copying mode. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is turned on, an ROM6 is started by a micro-CPU1 and the information on basic copying mode is transferred from an FD4 to a RAM5 via a bus 2 and an FD controller 3 and is at the same time executed. Basic mode setting is then executed to an input-output part 9 and an operation display device 8 via an input-output port 7. If there is an instruction for changing the mode from the device 8, the micro-CPU1 and the ROM6 identify the same via the port 7 and the bus 2 and the information in the selected copying mode is transferred from the floppy disk 4 to the RAM5 and is at the same time executed in the same way as mentioned above. The capacity of the ROM is thus considerably decreased. The capacity of the RAM itself does not increase as the RAM is required to store only the control table of the selected copying program. |
