PURPOSE:To improve poor color reproduction by forming a green sensitive emulsion layer at the position farthest from a support, and incorporating a p-dihydroxybenzene deriv. in at least one emulsion layer and a specified amt. of developer in a bleach fixing bath. CONSTITUTION:A yellow coupler-contg. emulsion layer, a cyan coupler-contg. emulsion layer, and a magenta coupler-contg. emulsion layer are formed on a support to constitute a silver halide color photosensitive layer. The magenta coupler-contg. emulsion layer is formed at the farthest position from the support. Further, at least one kind of p-dihydroxybenzene deriv., such as formula I or II, is incorporated in at least one emulsion layer in an amt. of <=5X 10<-2>mol per mole of silver halide contained in all the emulsion layers. The obtained silver halide color photosensitive material is bleach fixed in a bleach fixing bath contg. a developer in an amt. of >=10<-4>mol per mole of bleaching agent. |
