PURPOSE:To attain multiple address communication to all facsimile terminals connected to an exchange by branching and transmitting a picture data from an input line to an outgoing line after the outgoing lines of the same quantities as plural addresses transmitted from the line exchange are reserved. CONSTITUTION:The line exchange 2 is connected to plural facsimile transmission terminal devices 3 and facsimile receiving terminal devices 4 and communicated with the incoming lines IN and the outgoind lines OUT of a facsimile multiple address device 1. When the exchange 2 receives multiple service information, the exchange 2 connects idle incoming lines of the terminal device 3 and the device 1 and informs address information to the device 1. When a controller 12 at the transmission side of the device 1 confirms an incoming call from the terminal device 3, the controller 12 informs the address information to a controller 13 at the reception side. The controller 13 makes a call to all multiple addresses and prepares reception mode after the outgoing lines are set, and controls a branch circuit 11. The circuit 11 applies branch connection to an outgoing line corresponding to the address to a signal line from the controller 12, transmits a picture data from the controller 12 to the outgoing lines at the same time and transmits the picture data to the terminal device via the exchange 2. |
