A device for the stapling of newspapers and similar printed products, that are under continuous feed. The device is comprised of a stapling head (11), which is designed to perform a circular motion that touches the publication's path of motion in the feed direction (30), to be carried forward against a pad (12) under synchronous motion in the feed direction. The pad is designed to carry out a sympathetic motion during pressure of the stapling head against the pad, at which this motion also can be a circular motion of the same type as the stapling head performs.
