MANUFACTURE OF ARTICLES FROM TOUGH SEALED CELL FOAM RESIN BINDERED WITH BINDER

摘要

The mouldings are produced by mixing hard and tough, closed-cell foam granules having a particle size of from 10 to 20 mm with a medium- to low-viscosity binder in a foam granule : binder ratio by volume of from 55:1 to 45:1, and curing this mixture in a pressure mould at from 60 to 80 DEG C and at an initial pressure of from 5 to 8 bar. The binder used may be an unsaturated polyester resin.
