Method of producing plaster-cemented boards, in which there is formed on a continuously moving base layer an endless mat consisting of lignocellulose- and/or cellulose-containing and/or inorganic particles, pulverulent plaster and setting water for the plaster, which is then compressed to give finished boards. For the energy-saving and environmentally friendly production of uniformly formed boards having a smooth surface, this method is carried out in such a manner that, before the addition of the pulverulent plaster, the particles incorporate essentially only the amount of water required for setting the plaster, that the particles forming the mat are applied to an endless succession of individual planes and air-impermeable base layers, then the mat is divided into sections in the region of the butting areas or in the overlapping region of the base layers, then the mat-loaded base layers are pulled apart and subsequently stacked to form parcels of a specified height, compressed in a press and held in the respectively closed parcel, whereupon the individual, compressed and closed parcels are opened outside the press and the plaster-cemented boards formed from the mat sections are separated from the base layers. |
