PURPOSE:To improve property of incorporation, waterproofness and operability and prevent breakage of seal body by a method wherein the seal body is contacted closely with a connecting tower by a large frictional force due to uniform elastic deformation. CONSTITUTION:When a holder 16 is forced into the towar 12 upon fitting the high tension cord 2 into the connecting tower 12, engagements between a female terminal 13 and a male terminal 14, a rubber cap 15 and the tower 12 as well as the window 16c of the holder 16 and a flange 12b are effected simultaneously whereby prevention of dislocation of the high tension cord 2 is effected. The top 16c of the holder 16 pushes the stepped section 15a of the rubber cap 15, therefore, the rubber cap 15 is contacted to the connecting tower 12 closely. According to this method, the rubber cap 15 is contacted closely to the connecting tower 12 with a large frictional force by the inner peripheral wall 15c without being compressed into the radial direction thereof. Accordingly, deformation of the rubber cap may be restricted, good incorporation may be effected, sealing property as well as operability may be improved and a case wherein the cord is unusable due to the disconnection thereof may be eliminated. |
