PURPOSE:To make the titled film into a resin oriented film which is superior in heat resistance and mechanical strength, by orienting a film forming member including a specific repeating unit more than a fixed quantity and composing of polycyanoaryl ether more than specific magnification. CONSTITUTION:A film forming member composing of polycyanoaryl ether whose reducing viscosity is 0.4-2.0dl/g at the temperature of 60 deg.C of a solution including more than 50mol% repeating unit shown by a chemical formula, making p-chlorophenol into its solvent medium and having concentration of 0.2g/dl is oriented at magnifications of more than one and half times. In succession to the above, the obtained oriented film is fixed thermally by holding the obtained oriented film for a minute at 300 deg.C under a strained state. The oriented film is one superior in mechanical strength and heat resistance. |
