A power factor controller for opening the condenser from the network consists of a reactive component detector(4), three comparators(5,7,10), a timer circuit(14), two OR gates(12,13), an inhibition gate(17), an AND gate(18), and a load current detector (9) . The comparators(5,7) compare the outputs between component detector and a setting circuit for turn-on time of the condenser (6) and the comparator(10) compares the outputs between load current detector and a current setting circuit(11). The inhibition gate(17) provides the output when outputs of (5) and (14) and nonoutput of (7) are received.
