PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF BRIQUETTE USING WASTE PEAT

Waste peat is crushed to 60-100 mesh. To the crushed waste peat (50%) , bunker-C oil (10%) is added as a comburent, along with paraffin (3%), sawdust (10%), slaked lime (3%), bentonite (3%), soda ash (1%) to eliminate the noisome sulfur component, carbide (5%), and the sludge from paper manufacture (5%); and then mixed. The mixed material is pressed to produce briquettes. The pressed briquettes can be used as normal briquettes, and have a high caloric value and long combustion time.
