The invention relates to a fixing stand for a car radio antenna whip and its method of manufacture. A stand according to the invention includes a metal part 9 which is provided with a threaded fixing rod 13 and a means 10 of assembling with an antenna whip or whip-carrier element 2. The stand includes a seal 15 and possibly a positioning peg 16 as well as a base 17 moulded over the part 9, the seal 16 and the peg 15 in such a way that the threaded rod 13 and in part the seal and the said peg are left proud of the said base. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a stand. <IMAGE>
