<p>PURPOSE:The titled additive that is composed of proline and its salt, thus reacting with nitrite ions prominently to inhibit the medicines containing amino groups from forming carcinogenetic N-nitroso compounds in vivo to prevent cancer development. CONSTITUTION:Proline and its salts are used as an additive for medicines containing amino groups. The medicines containing amino groups such as tetracyclines, chlorpromazine, aminopyrin react, in stomach, with nitric acid from food to form a carcinogenetic substace. In the meantime, previously added proline prominently reacts with nitrite ions in the presence of an aliphatic amine to form nontoxic N-nitrosopurine to inhibit the formation of N-nitroso compounds effectively. The amount of proline to be added is preferably in the range from 1mg to 1g/day.50kg. The medicament forming a large amount of amine can mix with more than equimolar amount of proline than the amine formed.</p> |
