The invention relates to ''level setting systems with floats'' permitting automatic filling of a nearly-empty receptacle. The device comprises a tap constituted by a support 1, a ring 2, a toric joint 3, a spring 4, a collar 5, bearing on the toric joint 3, extended by a tube 6, extended by a compartment 7 containing a ballast 8. Between the tube 6 and the compartment 7 a shaft 10 is articulated 9; at its base the ballasted float 12 is fixed; above the ballasted float 12, a float 13 is free on the shaft 10. A ring 14 and a joint 15 hold the assembly. Receptacle full, or being emptied, assembly in equilibrium. The tap is closed: the collar 5 rests on the joint 3, the ballast 8 is towards the shaft. Receptacle empty or filling, equilibrium broken. The tap is open: the collar 5 no longer rests on the joint 3, the ballast 8 is moved away from the shaft.
