The invention relates to an inhalation stick for inhalation at any time, comprising a cylindrical container for the product whose vapours are to be inhaled, which has a rounded end provided with perforations and can be comfortably carried in a pocket. The invention is based on the object of providing an inhalation stick which can be provided with a liquid or even crystalline inhalation product that is easy to insert and can be replenished in a simple manner. Furthermore, this inhalation stick is to permit generation of a stronger draught by sucking more vigorously at one end of the stick, so that the air flowing through the interior of the inhalation stick during suction brings about an increased degree of evaporation, as a result of which the inhalation intensity is increased. According to the invention, this object is achieved by a wick insertable in the container which can be impregnated in a metered manner with a volatile oil or a mixture of several such oils, and in that passage openings for the vapours to be inhaled are provided on both front sides. Thus, the respirator according to the invention is advantageous in several respects. First of all, replenishing of the inhalation product, in the present case a volatile oil or a mixture of such oils, is possible in a simple manner for the first time.
