PURPOSE:To use an optical fiber cable as a communication channel for the arrangement of optical fiber cable laying or the like by converting an electric signal from a handset into an optical signal to be connected to the optical fiber cable. CONSTITUTION:A voice is inputted from the handset 3, its electric signal is converted into an optical signal at an electric signal/optical signal converting circuit 9 and transmitted to the optical fiber cable 1 via an optical signal demultiplexing filter 11 and a connecting connector 2. On the other hand, the optical signal transmitted from an opposite side passes through the optical signal multiplexing filter, the signal is converted into an electric signal at an optical signal/electric signal converting circuit 10 and transmitted to the handset 3. A call signal circuit 7 is a circuit to transmit a signal to call an opposite party and connected to the electric signal/optical signal converting circuit 9 and the handset 3 of the optical signal/electric signal converting circuit 10. Each circuit is driven by a battery 8 with charging function. |
