Circuit for controlling the heating of a furnace in non-flame atomic absorption spectroscopy

A graphite tube is heated with maximum heat output. When the time integral of the product of the current flowing through the graphite tube and the voltage drop across the tube reaches a specified set- point value, the heating is switched off or induced. The integral is a good measure of the switch-off temperature.
