PURPOSE:The titled apparatus, having a structure capable of feeding cooked rice into each cavity of templates, compressing and molding the rice, transferring the resultant rice balls together with the templates under a packaging part, pushing up the rice balls to the packaging part with a pushing up plate, and further carrying out the operation from the molding of the rice balls to the packaging consistently without causing a loss. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice is fed into each cavity 43 of templates 42 and compressed while moving intermittently the templates 42 at a regular interval on a belt to form rice balls 9. The belt serving as the bottom plate is then removed, and the rice balls 9 and the templates 42 together are transferred under a packaging part 3. The rice balls 9 are then pushed up an removed from the templates 42 with a pushing up plate 51, and a sheet (S) transferred by a sheet transferring apparatus 2 is placed on the top of the rice balls 9 and quided to the upper side of a guide plate 1 of the packaging part 3. |
