MANUFACTURE OF SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a surface wave substrate on which a surface wave pattern is coated with simple method by bonding plural plastic films adhered onto a wide sheet to a wide substrate provided with the plural surface wave patterns are provided so as to cover each pattern with a surrounding adhesives. CONSTITUTION:The plural surface wave pattern 12 are provided longitudinally and laterally on a piezoelectric substrate 11 at a prescribed interval. Plural plastic film pieces 14 corresponding to the patterns 12 except at regions of a terminal electrode are adhered to a lower face of a sheet 13, and an adhesives is coated to the surrounding of the surface of each film piece 14. The sheet 13 is overlapped on the substrate 11 so as to cover each pattern 12 by each film piece 14 and also each film piece 14 is bonded onto the substrate 11 by the adhesives 15 applied therearound. The substrate 11 is separated along longitudinal and lateral imaginary lines 16.
