<p>A device for positioning a pair of tights relative to a pair of tubes for inverting the legs comprises a turntable with (three) sets of parallel flat forks and grips to readily receive the mouth of a pair of tights by manual loading. The forks then move to a position opposite the tubes where two pairs of prongs diverge vertically to open up the elasticated waist of the tights to form a rectangular opening. The legs are sucked or blown into their respective tubes and the prongs traverse a radial overhead beam to disengage the mouth of the tights from the forks and invert it around the outsides of the tubes. Pref. the various components are actuated pneumatically.</p> |
