PURPOSE:To vary continuously a composition of electrolyte solution by passing a liquid sending tube in an electrolyte vessel in which electrodes are dipped to connect electrically the electrolyte solution and an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A polyacrylamid gel, etc. containing tris-boric acid buffer liquid is used for an electrophoresis medium 1, a pair of electrolyte vessels 2, 3 are provided to both sides of the medium 1, the electrolytes 4, 5 are changed in the vessels 2, 3 respectively and platinum electrodes 6, 7 are provided therein. The electrolyte solutions 8, 9 are drained respectively from drain holes 14, 15 by pumps 10, 11 through liquid sending tubes 12, 13. One part of a part of each tube 12, 13 in the vessel 2 or 3 is formed by ion exchanging tube 12a or 13a respectively. A voltage is impressed between both ends of the medium 1 through the electrolytes 4, 5 and the solutions 8, 9 in the tubes 12a, 13a and the tubes 12, 13, by impressing voltage between the electrodes 6, 7. |
