<p>Fast, uniform dyeing/printing of basically-modified polyolefin fibrous, yarn or sheet material is effected continuously or semi-continuously from a single bath by padding or printing the material with an aqs. acid bath or printing paste contg. one or more dissolved metal- dyestuff complexes, opt. drying the material and then heat fixing the dyestuff(s), or allowing the material to remain at room temp. or at slightly elevated temps. Preferred metal-dyestuff complexes are the 1:2 -Co and 1:2 -Co complexes of azo dyestuffs, and esp. of mon-azo dyestuffs, and also the 1:1-Ci, 1:1-Co and 1:1-Cr complexes of azo dyestuffs. Orange, brown, red, blue, biolet, grey and black shades, etc. can be obtd.</p> |
