PURPOSE:To inform a user an accident to a fan motor lock indirectly by turning off a cooling fan and other loads wired in prallel to it with the locked motor current of the cooling fan. CONSTITUTION:A fuse 13 is provided in series with fan motors M2 and M3, and other loads are fed through the wiring E between them. The fuse 13 is so rated that fuse blows not with the total current values of normal on currents of the motors M2 and M3 and currents of other connected loads, but with the total current value of the locked motor currents of the motors M2 and M3 and the currents of the other loads. For example, the feed line B to a high voltage power source 4 is connected by the wiring E. Consequently, when the fan motors M1 and M2 are locked, the fuse 13 blows to stop feeding the motors M1 and M2, and also the high voltage power source 4, and a photosensitive body is not charged electrostatically if a copy is taken in said state, so a white paper copy is obtained to inform the user the abnormality of the machine. |
