PURPOSE:To prevent uneven development by using a combination of at least two kinds of fine silica powders different in particle diameter for the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer of a printing material formed by laminating on a support, an antihalation layer, said emulsion layer, and a physical development nucleus layer in this order. CONSTITUTION:A combination of at least two kinds of fine silica powders different in particle diameter is contained in the photosensitive silver halide of a lithographic material applying the silver salt diffusion transfer method prepared by successively laminating on a support, an antihalation layer, said emulsion layer, and a physical development nuclus layer. Such fine silica powders are a combination of at least two groups of fine silica powders different in particle diameter, preferably, by >=3mum from each other and both selected from, e.g., 1-15mum diameter particles. The addition of such powders to said emulsion layer can give preferable surface matness on a printing face, and such a printing material scarcely causes uneven printing due to uneven development processed in an automatic plate making machine or the like, and it can obtain superior image quality. |
