PURPOSE:To constitute a small-sized, inexpensive color copying machine by installing at least two kinds of color developing device alternately at a developing device installation part. CONSTITUTION:A fixing rod 30 is rotatable around a hinge pin 35 provided to the support plate 34 of a main frame 36 and fixed at the other terminal to a fixing plate 40 provided to the main frame 36. An invariably downward force is applied to the pressure plate 41 of the fixing plate 40 on the side of a developing device 20 through the operation of a spring 42. For the purpose, the pressure plate 41 is elevated temporarily to place one terminal of the fixing rod 30 in the recessed part of the fixing plate 40, and then released to fix one terminal of the fixing rod 30 to the fixing plate 40 with the spring 42, thereby fixing the developing device 20 to the copying machine frame 36. When the developing device 20 is detached from the main frame 36, on the other hand, the pressure plate 41 is elevated at the side of the developing device 20 and the fixing plate 30 is only removed from the fixing plate 40. Therefore, plural developing device 20 which contain toner particles differing in color are used to take a plural-color copy by one copying machine. |
