PURPOSE:To use a line memory in common by providing a Y/C separation circuit between a frame memory and a chrominance signal polarity inverting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A digital composite color television signal is fed to a noise elimination circuit 10 from an input terminal 9 and the signal subject to one frame period delay having the same polarity as the inputted color television signal is fed from the chrominance signal polarity inverting circuit 13. The color television signal from which noise is eliminated is fed to the frame memory 11 and delayed by nearly one frame's share, then fed to the Y/C separation circuit 12. The Y/C separation circuit 12 uses the line memory so as to separated a luminance signal and a carrier chrominance signal by means of line correlation. The chrominance signal polarity inverting circuit 13 uses a carrier chrominance signal C outputted from the Y/C separation circuit so as to form the composite television signal (Y-C), which is fed to the noise eliminating circuit 10. |
