PURPOSE:To make the natural frequency of a system adjustable and improve its durability by providing an equipment support, on which a pump or other equipment is fixed, with a water-tight section and by filling it with liquid so as to serve for vibration damping. CONSTITUTION:An equipment 1 such as a pump, etc. is fixed to a stationary body of a ship base 5 or the like via an equipment support 2. A water-tight section 10 of the equipment support 2 is filled with a liquid 6 for the purpose of changing high frequency vibrations of the equipment 1 to lower frequency vibrations. The natural frequency of a system can be easily changed by changing the volume of the liquid 6. |
