PURPOSE:To obtain the good response characteristic of an engine when it is rapidly accelerated so as to improve a drive feeling, by setting the deviation between target and actual speed change ratios to 0 during a predetermined operational condition of rapid acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A speed change ratio fixing means, which sets the deviation between target and actual speed change ratios to 0 during a predetermined operational condition of rapid acceleration, is provided in the control device of a stepless speed changer. In this way, speed change ratio can be changed to its larger side after the speed of an engine rises to the predetermined condition by leaving the speed change ratio of the stepless speed changer to be fixed before the speed of the engine reaches the predetermined condition when the engine is rapidly accelerated. Accordingly, a drive feeling can be improved by obtaining a good response characteristic of the engine when it is rapidly accelerated. |
