PURPOSE:To prevent tear-up and slip-down of a separator sheet by damping a small portion of the separator sheet with a penetrating liquid and transferring the separator sheet in case of transferring the separator sheet and a glass plate onto a horizontal conveyer from a pallet where separator sheets and glass plates are alternately stacked vertically by a feeder. CONSTITUTION:Glass plates G and separator sheets are alternately stacked on a supply pallet 1 vertically, and the glass plate G is adsorbed by a sucker pad 5 through a separator sheet having a damp portion 8 damped with a penetrating liquid during stand-by to be turned above a horizontal conveyer 10 by a pivotal arm 9 of a feeder 6 and transferred on the horizontal conveyer by releasing adsorption. The pivotal arm 9 is adapted to put back the sucker pad 5 to an adsorbing position for the next glass plate G with a separator sheet 3. On the other hand, the glass plate G with the separator sheet 3 is moved to a discharge conveyer 12, a discharge adsorption head 11 is lowered to a part of the damping portion 8 of the separator sheet 3 positioned behind the glass plate G by a cylinder disposed above support means 16 and brought close thereto, and the separator sheet 3 is adsorbed through a hose 13 by a negative pressure generator to be raised, so that only the glass plate G is advanced to the next process by a horizontal conveyer 15. |
